Biography
Pam leads Learning Media’s pedagogical knowledge and research-based professional learning capability. She is also responsible for developing the learning organisation culture within Learning Media. Pam joined the company in 2000 when she was appointed to develop a new direction for the business.
Pam began her teaching career as a secondary teacher of social sciences the moved into tertiary educator in curriculum and assessment. Pam has completed a PhD in education on the conditions that promote sustainability of professional development projects in schools in New Zealand. She is the author of six social sciences texts published in New Zealand and the United States and several Ministry of Education resources for schools.
The consulting team works directly with schools, designing and implementing schooling improvement initiatives that have made a demonstrable difference for learners. Consultants in this group also develop the concepts and instructional learning designs for student and educator materials in all of Learning Media’s markets.
